Welcome to the JMCC Beer League!

 

Here are the rules:

The most important rule of all is that the Beer Cart must be fully stocked at all times. Otherwise...

 

Monthly Layout:

​

Week 1: JMCC Cup - Seperate Tournament (see Tournaments listing)

​

Week 2: JMCC Beer League Wk 1 -  7.9, moderate wind

​

Week 3: JMCC Beer League Wk 2 - 10.0, moderate wind

 

Week 4: JMCC Beer League Wk 3 - 12.0, low wind

 

General Topics:

  • Since we''ll be on a 3 week monthly rotation I'll alternate months having 2 weeks moderate/low wind that same month. 

  • Pin positions will be random for each round. 

  • We will play the same course for all 3 rounds each month under the varying conditions. 

  • The courses will rotate through all the regular (non-best of) courses excluding Chamber's Bay. We can all agree that place is Hell on earth.

  • Scoring will happen each week. The standings will be current on this thread each week.

  • All rounds will be single play.

  • Players can join or leave the league at any time via request on the forums or direct message to the Director.  

  • If a player leaves the league, all their points will simply be forfeited. 

  • Any player who does not participate for 2 weeks in a row will get a warning and missing a 3rd week in a row will result in removal from the league. I know this may seem  harsh, but we want this to be competitive and fun. If you are going to miss a few weeks of play simply let an officer know and you'll be excused!

 

 

Scoring: 

 

  • 1st Place: 6 points

  • 2nd Place: 3 points

  • 3rd Place: 1 point

  • All ties will receive the same amount of points. There will be no card offs.

     

Playoffs: 

 

  • In December we take the top 4 players in the standings and have an 18 hole playoff on a course/conditions of the 1st place player's choosing. Each week the low score is eliminated so we'd have a week with 4 players, then 3 players, then the final 2. 

  • The Beer League Championship Match will be 2 x 18 hole tournaments between the final 2 players. Each player get's to name 1 course/conditions. 

     

Director: 

 

  • Calabash101 will be the Director in charge of the Beer League in 2018. Barring extenuating circumstances we will choose a Director in Charge and revisit any rule changes every year in December. 

  • Post on the forums or message the Director directly with any questions or concerns about the League.
